Zhuhai International Mozart competition for Young Musicians 珠海首届莫扎特音乐节比赛概览剧情介绍：" The First Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians, with the approval of the Ministry of Culture, China, will be launched by Zhuhai Municipal People' s Government and the University Mozarteum Salzburg, Austria, from the 13th to the 26th of September, 2015 in the beautiful coastal city of Zhuhai. The University Mozarteum Salzburg, established in 1841, famous for being one of the most celebrated music academies in Europe, is also the founder of the International Mozart Competition, carrying on the legacy of W. A. Mozart. Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians grows out of the international significance of the musical genius of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and aims to become an all-embracing international youth competition held in the world. The competition has two categories, namly the piano and the violin, the most popular instruments in China. Participants, with an age limit of 23, will be divided into three age groups. The competition expects from participants not only technical virtuosity but also understanding of classical music in their interpretations. The Salzburg Chamber Soloists, famed for their playing of Mozart, is the orchestra in residence for the competition.
